And right now, we have an exciting opportunity within the Central Costs Finance team for an Assistant Management Accountant. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of all financial reporting, planning and analysis in accordance with both internal and external reporting guidelines and requirements.
You will prepare monthly management accounts and reports for the Central Costs, Travel, Media & Insurance entities including analysis and commentary in relation to profit & loss account at a level appropriate for the intended audience. You will also be involved in the Groupwide headcount reconciliation process and the annual allocation of the Central cost base to the other divisions in the Group.
You will have strong writing and presentational skills and be an all-round excellent communicator presenting in a clear and concise fashion to enable senior leaders from both finance and non-finance areas can understand the issues quickly and make appropriate business decisions.

Main Responsibilities

Preparation & posting of monthly accruals and prepayments
Monthly forecasting and modelling for the current financial year, full-yearly budget, longer term planning and providing variance analysis and commentary to present to internal stakeholders.
Provide appropriate challenges and support to the business units to deliver forecasts and projections which are challenging yet achievable
Groupwide headcount reconciliation
Assisting the Finance Manager (Costs) with the annual allocation of costs to other divisions within the Group
Provide support and guidance on business cases and assist with the modelling of potential benefits
The Ideal Candidate

Degree educated or ACA, ACCA or CIMA part-qualified – this role is ideally suited to individuals who are wishing to attain a senior position in Finance once qualified
Analytically strong with a willingness to question and challenge, facilitating the ability to identify anomalies or inconsistencies and pursue these through to a resolution.
Ability to multi-task and must be exceptionally well organised; attention to detail; high level of accuracy; ability to meet established deadlines; ability to work under pressure; ability to work proactively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a range of colleagues at varying levels.
Able to quickly establish credibility, winning the respect and co-operation of colleagues
Experience with CODA Dream, TM1, Cognos Controller, Excel, Powerpoint are desirable, but not essential.
