Job Description
Job Summary
As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating documentation as per the needs of the project & product development team for DLT Labs.

Responsibilities:
In this role, you will work closely with project & product team, and manage the documentation needs of multiple in-house developed work products.

Develop comprehensive documentation that meets DLT’s organizational standards.

Obtain a deep understanding of products and services to translate complex product information into simple, polished, and engaging content.

Develop and maintain detailed databases of appropriate reference materials, including research, usability tests, and design specifications.

Evaluate current content and develop innovative approaches for improvement.

Create release notes of the work products developed in-house.

Be a bridge between the project managers and developers to get relevant information needed for the documentation of a product.

Consolidate data and streamline multiple versions of a product into the documentation created.
Requirements
Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Mass Communication/Tech or relevant field with minimum 4 years of industry experience as an effective technical writer

Proficient with various content management tools like Microsoft Suite, WordPress, Medium

Working knowledge of GitHub and adept in HTML

Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics.

Previous experience in writing documentation and procedural materials for multiple audiences.

Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Experience working with engineering to improve the user experience: design, UI, and help refine content and create visuals and diagrams for technical support content.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with an eye for prioritization.

A motivated initiative-taker with a love for refining and editing content.

Adept at proofreading.

Excellent in stakeholder management.
