Job title: Automation Engineer
Job location: Chennai
Automation Engineer will be responsible for development of traditional automation ( Non RPA) which includes web development, scripting ( VBA, JS, Python ) & collaboration tools ( SharePoint / power apps / power automate flows).
As automation engineer, you will be responsible for
1) Working with business team to understand the automation/digitization opportunity and translate them to solution.
2) You will work in individual capacity to delivery the implementation by developing them and supporting them till operational handover is complete
3) You will closely work Opex team to coordinate exploration of the opportunity by participating in workshops on digitization /automation across APAC.
Education Qualification:Engineering degree in technology or Masters in Technology.
Work Experience:5-7 yrs minimum years’ experience in digitization with track record in translating customer requirements into automation solution.
Key Skills/Competencies:
Technical/Functional Competencies:Expert level MS Excel AutomationAdvanced experience in scripting & power automateExposure to Reporting and dashboarding implementationSql experience is a plusSAP experience is a plusStrong affinity with IT toolsGood organizational and time management skills and the ability to work with limited supervision on new projectsStrong affinity with LEAN processes and toolsFluent in English
