Your Role and Responsibilities
You will be a full stack cloud developer who will be designing/developing features/integrating components/testing Sev One – Network Performance management technology that allows customers to view their whole IT systems from application through containers and storage.
As a full stack SDN Developer you will apply your deep expertise
Develops features to advance our Solutions (SDWAN, SDN, WiFi)
Architects, designs and implements solutions independently
Attends and participates in various Engineering meetings for the team
Documents and tests said features
Writes automated unit, functional and integration tests as needed
Participate in code reviews with the team
Increases distributed nature of the product
May provide guidance or mentoring to fewer senior engineers
May function as project lead on specific product rollouts
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
The ideal candidate has extensive technology and design experience involving SDN, Networking Orchestration, Openstack and Virtual network architecture.
Candidate should have proven experience in application development agile methodology related to n/w orchestration, network virtualization
5+ years of IT Experience.
Proven programming experience in Go and/or C/C++.
Experience with modern cloud technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes
Experience in Linux/CentOS/RHEL
Familiar with major cloud providers: Azure, AWS, GCP and others
Experience with distributed systems and test-driven development
Self-motivated and highly ambitious
Demonstrated ability to balance multiple project deliverables
Strong written and verbal communication
Experience working in multinational / multicultural environment
Excellent teamwork and people skills
Demonstrable depth of knowledge in a domain such as networking, messaging, data sharing and distributed computing
Demonstrated critical thinking & problem-solving skills
General programing aptitude with one or two strong areas
Demonstrated ability to determine test cases provided from business requirements
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Proficient in Golang
Networking Knowledge (SDWAN, SDN, WiFi)
Demonstrable ability to learn new programming languages and frameworks quickly
Experience with distributed message queues eg. Kafka, ZMQ
Familiar with DevOps tools like Ansible/Gitlab/Terraform
Familiar with Databases: MYSQL or others
