The Campaign and Creative Services (CCS) Finance team is seeking an experienced Business Analyst based in New York to support the Campaign Enablement Services (CES) organization.

The Campaign Enablement Services (CES) organization mission is to provide best-in-class end customer advertising experience by proactively supporting advertisers’ demands for reliable, scalable, frictionless, value-added experience throughout the campaign life-cycle.

As a Business Analyst you will lead data collection and analysis for the organization across multiple geographies. Your work will have a direct impact on how business partners shape improvement initiatives to improve customer experience and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include:

Own the design, development, automation, and maintenance of ongoing and ad-hoc metrics, reports, analysis, and dashboards to drive key business decisions
Work closely with leadership to identify key data for projects and extract and aggregate data from available data sources across Amazon into digestible and actionable formats
Develop weekly reporting packages and analyze the root cause for variances
Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver insights
Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvements by diving into operational metrics and campaign performance data
Design and influence operational best practices for reporting and analytics to enable the team to scale as we grow
Validating data to ensure accuracy in the output
Advanced knowledge of SQL; basic knowledge of other programming language
Ability to synthesize data into written narrative and communicate findings to diverse audiences (e.g., technical, non-tech, executive); requires strong verbal and written communication skills with some experience facilitating discussions with both large and small audiences
Advanced knowledge of Excel is required, including use of lookups and pivot tables
Relevant work experience in an analytically oriented, data, or quantitative role e.g., business metrics reporting, finance, consulting, or marketing research
Robust quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with large data sets; understand the basics of both descriptive and inferential statistics
Ability to think out of the box to automate manual processes
Knowledge of QuickSight
