Job Description : Roles and Responsibilities :-
The role demands a seasoned risk professional in an individual contributor capacity with sound data warehousing expertise and ability to support risk teams by coordinating with various stakeholder and ensuring delivery of future ready data model. The resource should be able to help Risk innovate through data-driven decisioning by querying data and merging information from diverse data sources and provide analytical support using SQL to measure KPIs or perform ad-hoc data exploration. Cross collaboration with different analytics teams and multi-tasking on projects will also be required on a daily basis. The resource is also expected to drive innovative ideas of data delivery and provide recommendations to Risk logically on a day to day basis.
Skills & Competencies required: –
Strong hands on coding experience in SQL/Python.
Experience in Data warehousing, Logical data model, data management, data analytics
Experience in managing data / analytics deliverable and teams or a Consulting experience in the data/analytics space
Overall experience of 3+ years in in Banking/ Financial Services. – Strong Driving & Navigational skills.
Experience with relational databases utilizing SQL to pull and summarize large datasets, report creation and ad-hoc analysis
Demonstrate ability to think beyond raw data and to understand the underlying business context and sense business opportunities hidden in the data
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Advanced MS Office suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
A very strong track record of ownership and accountability will be key to the success of this role
Experience of working in an Agile framework
Highly effective in narrating the analytical output to stake holders, draw agreement on business actions or formulate impact strategies
