Requirements
This role is mainly accountable to:
Define blueprint reference architectures and SW blueprint solutions for Session Mgmt & CNCS businesses supporting business growth and scale and affordable operational costs, effectively engaging each CoE for contribution and adherenceCreate and nurture innovative, efficient and high performing Technology & ArchitectureEnsure defined architectures are adhered to while implementing the various s/w product linesFertilize knowledge and leadership understanding of architectural choices and implicationsDrive industry standards/patentsIncubate strategic initiatives and drive Proof of ConceptsDrive domain/BU solution definition, focus is on defining product agnostic solutions, driving increasing usage of cross-BU tools and simplifications, services, technology, and infrastructureManage and nurture the competencies and best practices and develop champions able to communicate with stakeholders, customers and CNS Engineering communityEstablish and maintain a set of practices and Performance management

Main Responsibility Areas
Define and harmonize references architecture and SW blueprint solutionsOutline business-consistent IMS, CNCS vision and Strategy Technology roadmapsEnsure Security centric and adherent architecturesEnforce common, reusable, modular architectures, and development frameworks and platforms, ensure its adherence, advocates it towards pre-sales and post-sales organizationsPromote and synergize with Nokia internal and external innovationPartner with Services Practices Adoption to ensure operational affordable architecturesManage X-BU interfacing for similar/interfacing products/portfolio streamsDrive innovation communities and patents targets/realizationEstablish and drive own Center of Excellence (CoEs) with foundational Agile&DevSecOps Mode of Operation, outline business-consistent vision, develop champions, create innovative/collaborative/competitive new Technical Authority brand in own fieldDefine best practicesGrowth team skills and ambition of success, lead team to maximum productivityConduct knowhow sessions to other teams in the organizationInfluence Service Practice and Mgmt for needed investments and priority trade-off decisionsSupport business and operational performance monitoring and management, benchmark cost structure against market
Position Requirements (Experience/Skills/Knowledge)
Specifically, candidates will need to demonstrate the following experience and qualifications.
Essential Requirements:
Strong R&D background and Domain authority in Core Network architectures(IMS, VoLTE, SIP)Deep technical knowledge of Telco Networking stack – Core networksDeep technical knowledge of Management systems, automation and cognitive applicability for Network operations and ManagementDeep understanding of 4/5G, Signalling & 3GPP, RFCs, Hyperscale cloud capabilities – Azure, AWS, GCPInnovation, creative and built to scale mindsetInspirational leadershipInfluential communication and networkingObsessively plans and aligns Resources utilization and efficiencyCustomer focusedAbility to drive engagement and collaboration with key Services Practices and Business partnersBalanced under stress, fearless of ambiguity, adaptableAmbitious to keep building and adapting for the future while delivering

Expert Programmer with 9+ years using Go / Java / C++ and related Tools in Linux environment
Good working knowledge in VOLTE/IMS, DRA, SCP, BSF, SEPP in 4G/5G core technologies
Prior experience in interfacing with customers & customer teams in understanding their deployments and use cases in the areas of Performance, Serviceability
Good working knowledge on Diameter/HTTP2 signalling domain, JSON, RestAPI, SCTP, TCP with core products e.g. Load Balancers, DRA, SLF, HSS, UDM, AUSF
Good working experience in Linux, Kubernetes, VMWare, OpenStack and working with CSF Assets & Blueprints like BVNF/BCMT/BELK
Experience with Cloud Native, Microservices, Containers and Virtualization Technologies like Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), Helm, Envoy, Consul, Redis, gRPC and Open Source Integration
Hands-on Experience in Software Development and Processes
Willing to work in lean and extremely agile environment / start-up work culture to achieve stiff and challenging targets
Team player with proven ability to work in diverse team environment
