Chennai Michelin Plant
SKILLS REQUIRED – Technical

✓ Expert level Solidworks (3D) and AutoCAD

✓ Special Purpose Machine design knowledge / experience

✓ Expert level in creating mechanical drawings and pneumatic layouts

✓ Proficient in creating detailed drawings for parts and assemblies

✓ 2D to 3D drawings conversion

✓ Excellent knowledge in Geometrical tolerances and dimensions

✓ Knowledge in manufacturing process

✓ Material selections

✓ Welding process/ Surface treatment processes etc..

✓ Knowledge about commercial components (motors/ cylinders / actuators)

✓ Experience in Team Centre (PLM)

✓ Failure Mode Effective Analysis

REQUIREMENTS

Educational Qualification

✓ Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering

✓ Work experience in Special purpose machine designing

✓ Machine manufacturing experience is necessary

INDUSTRY PREFERENCE & GEOGRAPHIES

✓ Heavy machineries, Automobile production machine designing, Engineering services
