Job Description : Citrix L2 (Noc, Soc, GSD, RDMS)
Profile of the position:
Hands-on experience on Citrix XenApp, Xendesktop 7.6 and above, PVS, MCS
Basic knowledge on Citrix Cloud and NetScaler
Duties and Responsibilities
Providing support to NOC/ SOC/ GSD/ RDMS and assist within team in managing and implementing the Citrix environment.
Work the ticket in timely manner
Able to provide RCA and work towards resolution.
Escalate to next level for complaints if not solved at his or her Level within 1 hr.
Update case notes with your findings and close the ticket.
Abide by all terms of Letter of Undertaking and follow the same.
Follow all admin as well as security rules and regulations of the Organization.
Report Information security incidents and weaknesses to Operations manager and CISO
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:
Hands on experience including but not limited to:
Experience in Citrix Administration on both XenApp and Xendesktop with multiple sites and farms.
Must troubleshoot all the issues related to XenApp and Xendesktop 7.6 and above
Must be working on VDI and HSD environment.
Must be able to publish Application through XenApp.
Must be able to publish Desktop through Xendesktop
Must have hands-on experience on PVS or MCS
Citrix patch management and policy configuration
Should be able to work on roaming profiles through UPM
Able to manage golden image (Manual/Automated Build), VDisk scaling Process (manual/automated)
Basic knowledge on hypervisors like EXSI, Xenserver, Hyper-V
Basic knowledge on NetScaler and Access gateway
Basic knowledge on Microsoft RDS.
Desired Qualification
Basic Education must have a Bachelor’s degree or Under Graduate in any stream
Good Communication Skills (Written & Verbal)
Understanding of ticketing system is also preferred.
Must be willing to work in 24×7 rotational shifts.
Previous NOC/GSD/RDMS/SOC experience will be a value add.
Desired Experience
Should have 4+ yrs. of experience providing Support to all technical departments on schedule time estimates for projects / task deliverables, adhere to SLA.
