We are looking for people who love working outside and have a construction background. ACM Metal Panel installation is a huge plus.
Job Summary:
Responsible for installing building parts made of sheet metal including: roofing, siding, and metal partitions.
Primary Responsibilities:
Installs custom, high-end architectural sheet metal work, such as fascia, cladding, parapet caps and leader heads
Solders sheet metal joints
Processes various materials such as aluminum, pre-anodized aluminum, stainless steel, bonderized steel, copper and brass
Uses all common hand and power tools for architectural fabrication and installation
Works independently from drawings or under direct supervision when fabricating and installing
Works quickly and neatly
Has good communication skills, dealing with stress and challenges in a positive manner
Any other tasks that the Managers or Foremen may assign
General Qualifications and Requirements:
Able to sit or stand for long periods (not including breaks).
Requires lifting, loading, bending, squatting and can be labor intensive.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. safely.
Demonstrate safe working practices, including ladder safety and the use of Personal Protection Equipment (such as eye protection, harnesses, etc.).
SAFETY procedures and participation in all company safety trainings is required.
Able to communicate in a professional manner.
Has a working smart phone for email, text, and calls, app for timecard, etc.
Pass the required drug test.
Pass the required background checks for government projects, as needed.
Required to follow and be compliant with DOT Regulations.
Forklift certification is a PLUS
Starting Wage $18-20 DOE
