Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant – Operations Support
In this role, you will be responsible for Application Support Operations and maintenance of multiple applications & databases, used by business units and infrastructure teams. To support Engineer using Agile Methodology and should have an end to end understanding of business use cases, to transform them into an effective and strategic solution. Work with business people to have a real time understanding of business problem and, design the solution which really fits into customer needs.
Responsibilities
Understanding technical specification and requirements
Write software to interact with HDFS and MapReduce.
Assess requirements and evaluate existing solutions.
Build, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot Hadoop infrastructure.
Develop tools and libraries and maintain processes for other engineers to access data and write MapReduce programs.

Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
BE/B Tech/M Tech/MCA/BCA
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred qualifications
Knowledge of the Hadoop ecosystem and its components
Ability to write manageable, reliable, and high-performance codes
Expert knowledge of Hadoop & Scala
Work experience in HQL (Hibernate Query Language)
Experience in writing MapReduce jobs and Pig Latin scripts
Hands-on experience in backend programming using Java, OOAD, JavaScript, and Node.js
Good knowledge of multi-threading and concurrency
Having analytical and problem-solving skills and implementing them in Big Data with your acquired Big Data Developer skills
Good understanding of data loading tools like Flume
In-depth knowledge of database principles, structures, practices, and theories
Knowledge of schedulers.
