The role holder needs to be experienced in managing and working within small teams of SMEs, providing a consistent and reliable service to internal and external stakeholders. Working closely with Agile development teams, being the point of contact for all environment and configuration management questions. A focus on innovation and adoption of Agile technologies will be essential to delivering measurable improvements to process flows and ways of working.
In this role, you will:
Work closely with resources both on and offshore in order to manage the non-production environments and configuration documentation for DBS Enterprise Systems and Technologies.
Manage a small team of SMEs in the above disciplines, with a focus on cross-skilling and up-skilling team members.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in order to manage key stakeholders internally, and engage with third parties externally.
Deliver an effective service to key stakeholders managing a number of concurrent activities, while working to fixed time lines.
Ensure continuous improvements are adopted across the work practices and tooling utilised across the team with a focus on the disciplines aligning closely with the Agile development process
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
Proven experience of managing multiple development environments in a previous support role.
Be open to new ideas, seeking to maximise efficiency and reduce unnecessary bureaucracy while maintaining service resilience.
Have an organised and proactive approach to managing and communicating change
Have some experience of the Agile software development methodologies.
Demonstrate experience in engaging with third party vendors and support teams to resolve issues timely and effectively.
Experience with Oracle Fusion products is not essential would be advantageous.
Proven written, spoken and presentational communication skills.
Proficient in a wide range of HSBC tool sets particularly JIRA, Confluence, Sharepoint and Github.
