Amazon Web Service’s Private Pricing Operations (PPO) team is looking for a talented Contract Operations Manager to support AWS’ dynamic and rapidly growing business. Amazon Web Services is at the forefront of the “cloud” computing and service industry providing IT infrastructure services such as on-demand compute capacity, storage, delivery, database services, browsers and more.
The Contract Operations Manager will be primarily focused on supporting the Private Pricing program for AWS, preparing and obtaining executive approvals and drafting executable contracts based on approved deal structures. This position requires an individual to autonomously operate within established frameworks and approaches with minimal guidance, while managing multiple, complex approval and contracting cycles at various points in the approval process. This individual will have highest standards and a bias for action to achieve deal velocity while exercising high judgment and autonomous decision making in often ambiguous situations. They must also be able to take ownership of the approval and contract process, driving internal and external teams, such as Legal, Operations, Finance, and Executive App rovers.
This role also requires identifying, tracking and analyzing key metrics as well as assisting with development of recommendations for improvements based on metrics. A successful candidate must be inquisitive, enthusiastic about technology, enjoy working hard and being continually challenged, and demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations. They must be willing to roll up their sleeves and build with us.
This role can be done form multiple EMEA locations.
Legal experience, law degree, or strong finance background demonstrating a high level of analytical aptitude
Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams
Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through and meet deadlines
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong analytical and computer skills
