Deputy Manager – Power Platform

This role is for a Deputy Manager with proven experience and strong technical skills in as well as deep knowledge and interest in Power Platform full stack.
The purpose of the Power Platform Developer position is to deliver services and solutions for M&G Plc stakeholders as part of the Power Platform Centre of Excellence using the suite of Microsoft’s PowerApps, Power BI, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Power Automate, Teams, Graph, custom development, and data integrations on the platform.

Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for developing PowerApps model and canvas driven apps for new as well as enhancing existing apps
Understanding of PowerApps formulas and development methods
Development of Azure logic apps and relevant functions and Power BI development.
Provide architecture, configuration, administration, and functional support to expand capabilities in Power Platform.
Develop and manage the release process for Power Platform using Azure DevOps
Spot areas and procedures where Office 365, Power BI and SharePoint can be better leveraged and consumed
Work directly with stakeholders to support various projects and solutions. Should be able to carry out analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of enterprise wide apps
Design end-to-end solutions that improve collaboration, productivity, and knowledge sharing amongst employees at all levels
Experience of SharePoint, SQL and RDBMS technologies will be preferable
Understanding of APIs or REST services integrations, how to implement solutions with multiple data sources
Interact with business users and other infrastructure & governance teams
General Responsibilities
Develop Data Solution and BI & Insights skills within the team through knowledge sharing sessions, articles, etc.
Participate in 10FA India Pvt. Ltd. (M&G India) community event, Management Open House, etc.
Adherence to organisations Risk & Controls requirements
Support new joiners in the team whilst they get settled in the organisation through ‘Buddy’ program
Qualification
Preferably should have Technical/Science Graduation degree with specialization in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering or related discipline
MBA desirable
Project management using Agile methodology
Data and Business Intelligence certification would be an add on
Experience
Overall 6-9 years of experience in BI projects, Low Code App development and Database modelling, warehousing
A high level of drive with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
Experience of providing insightful solutions throughout the business.
The ability to participate effectively in meetings with business stakeholders.
A team player who supports, encourages and shares knowledge with others.
A self-starter with the ability to work under pressure and with limited supervision.
A track record of accurate output and responsibility for elements of project delivery.
The ability to work as part of an integrated team or on an individual basis.
Required Competence / Knowledge / Skills (Mandatory)
Extensive experience in the Microsoft Power Platform, Canvas and Model Driven PowerApps, Flow, and Power BI
Power BI Development & Designing experience
2+ year of experience with Office 365 development utilizing PowerApps, Flow, and Power BI, Teams and SharePoint Online
Strong foundational knowledge of Office 365 platform and Azure environment
Experience customizing SharePoint lists and disparate systems with PowerApps
Experience developing PowerApps model
Ability to create business processes and custom connectors with Microsoft Flow .
At least 1 year experience in using Azure DevOps for release and deployment of code/apps
A clear understanding of PowerApps formulas and development methods . Ideally, past experience with SOA/web services design and programming; experience with SharePoint 2016, ASP.NET MVC and JavaScript
Experience working with MS SQL
Presentation skills with a view to address audiences of varying size.
Though excellent business to technology interpretation skills identify ways to apply solutions to help stakeholders increase business value and performance.
Exceptional verbal and written communication. Strong attention to detail.
3+ years of business solutions analysis and support experience
Familiarity with C#, ASP.Net MVC, Entity Framework, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Good to have Competence / Knowledge / Skills (Desired)
Exposure to Azure Data warehousing, Data Factory, Function App
Knowledge and experience in BFSI/Asset/Investment/Fund Management domain
Knowledge and exposure to Regulatory processes like Information Security, Data Protection, etc.
Onshore/Client site working experience
