Roles and Responsibilities
Assist market researches to understand market requirements and initiate innovative product development.
Prepare comprehensive project plans with technical objectives and detailed cost estimates.
Research competitor products, Customer challenges and collaborate with product development team to generate ideas for making world class products.
Analyze new components, materials and technologies to evaluate functionality for all new product development.
Design new concepts for development of new products and maintain technical compatibility to realize the products.
Present the concepts to all stake holders and obtain the approvals.
Analyze and perform quantitative assessment of design prototypes in line with regulatory and industry norms to tackle all regulatory and marketing issues.
Develop and build prototypes and run tests to measure their level of function.
Calculate cost estimates for product designs and development and obtain approvals on cost.
Design products using CAD, and consult with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure that designs are feasible.
Perform the FMEA program for new products.
Design and Build the products in time and within the budgetary parameters.
Search right components and right vendor in market for product development.
Generate enquiries for components require to the vendors and negotiate with vendors on technical parameters.
Record and evaluate testing data, altering designs as necessary to bring them to safety, performance and efficiency standards.
Consult with Manufacturing teams during product manufacturing, advising them on design specifications and providing physical assistance when required.
Conduct Alpha and Beta testing for the new products.
Participate in CAPA programs to promote continuous product improvement initiatives.
Desired Candidate Profile
In depth understanding of Pharmaceutical norms.
Good knowledge on Metals, Sensors, Pneumatics and Hydraulics systems.
Good knowledge of Standards ASME, ISO, DIN.
Hands on experience with 3DCAD software like AutoCAD Invasion, Solid Edge, Solid works.
Analyses tools like CFD.
