Job Description : Digital – Associate Process Manager – AEM Developer

We’re looking to add to this talent pool an AEM Developer. The role reports to Program Manager – Development and will be a key influencer of our digital identity. The ideal candidate should have between 3-5 years of experience in AEM development, maintenance, and configuration.
The candidate must possess in-depth functional knowledge of the process area and apply it to operational scenarios to provide effective solutions. He/she must be able to identify discrepancies and propose optimal solutions by using a logical, systematic, and sequential methodology. It is vital to be open-minded towards inputs and views from team members and to effectively lead, control, and motivate groups towards company objects. Additionally, he/she must be self-directed, proactive and seize every opportunity to meet internal and external customer needs and achieve customer satisfaction by effectively auditing processes, implementing best practices and process improvements, and utilizing the frameworks and tools available. Goals and thoughts must be clearly and concisely articulated and conveyed, verbally and in writing, to clients, colleagues, subordinates, and supervisors.
Associate Process Manager – AEM Developer Responsibilities
Develop websites using AEM/CQ, including the creation, configuration and integration of templates, components, dialog, widgets, workflows, content fragment, experience fragment, replication agent, JCR API, Adapter pattern.
Developing custom OSGI services using R6/R7 annotations, workflow, scheduler, sling servlets and event handlers
Create custom workflows in AEM
Develop AEM templates and components leveraging AEM Sightly/HTL framework
Creating dialog and their validations
Users, groups and permissions management. Migration of users, groups and ACLs
Multisite Management for AEM
Code deployment using Maven.
AEM maintenance tasks, dispatcher configurations
Employ strong coding standards for efficiency, readability, and reuse.
Propose technology solutions to enable the business to meet/exceed those goals.
Design, develop and support CMS components, integrations and applications.
Independently coordinate with the client for queries and timelines
Managing Java development, exception handling
Handle troubleshooting of components, templates
Technical and Functional Skills
3-5 years of experience in AEM development. Should have worked on at least 2 projects.
Experience with Java programming
Hands-on experience on front end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
Hands-on experience in technologies and concepts like, MVC, OOP, Design Patterns, Programming framework (Java), API development
Experience with Agile project management tools, e.g. Jira, and working with Scrum.

Excellent self-organization, self-motivation and time management.
Strong interpersonal skills and effective relation-building capacity with client
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including being comfortable influencing others and working across regions.
Must have excellent communication skills
Must be detail-oriented and well organized
Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize different tasks
Ability to use a strong analytical and artistic approach to solve complex creative issues
