We are looking for an experienced candidate to help lead our growing Data Warehouse /Business Intelligence development & operations function. This role will be hands on while also managing a high performing team consisting of full-time employees, consultants, and managed services. This team is responsible for supporting DW/BI/ODI/OAC/Power BI technical development work, production support activities, operations, and maintenance of applications for various business functions across VERITAS. This is a unique opportunity to demonstrate and grow your technical abilities while leading a team that will provide immediate impact on our DW/BI platforms that serve our internal customers. This person should be able to work collaboratively with US based managers, architects, business leads and IT cross functional teams in understanding the business requirements, scope, and timely delivery of DW/BI projects.
Excellent academic background with Master or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology / Computer Science preferred
10yrs + years Business Intelligence/Analytics experience encompassing the entire lifecycle from data acquisition, data integration, data modeling, analysis, and reporting. At least 4 years of experience in hiring, managing, and mentoring the activities of a team of DW/BI Developers
6yrs+ IT/DWH/BI/Analytics applications using leading tools viz. ODI/OBIEE/OBAW & SSIS/SSAS/PowerBI. Experience in designing and developing database applications using SQL, PL-SQL and procedures/functions Oracle RDBMS version 11g or 12 and Unix Shell scripts for high volume data warehouse instances.
Exposure to Analytics & Cloud technologies, web services and cloud data pipelines for data acquisition/ingestion/integration/enrichment/consumption. Understanding of Azure Data Lake and Azure Synapse i.e. Pipelines, Synapse-SQL, Synapse -Spark engines, Python, R is desirable.
