Job Description
Primary Skills
1) Hands on experience with Creo-Cabling and Creo Schematics, Pro-Diagram and AUTOCAD.
2) Develop harness design solutions within a CAD environment and adhere to internal design standards and requirements.
3) Able to make selection of wires, terminals, connectors for other electrical devices.
4) Establish a local design capability for electrical wiring, designing harnesses to schematics provided by program teams.
5) Will have to perform Electrical network analysis, component selection such as connectors/Terminals, wire size, fuse, etc
6) Comprehensive understanding and application of drafting rules and principals (ASME Y14.5M), able to develop company standards.
7) Good knowledge on Bill of Materials.
8) Good Oral and Written communication skill.
9) Ability to handle Design/Drawing release with minimum guidance.
10) Must be able to adjust changing demands, priorities and objectives
Good To Have Skills:
1. Pro-Diagram and AUTOCAD/E3
2..PTC Windchill experience preferred.
3.Work experience in NPD, QnR & VAVE projects are preferable.
4.HVAC domain experience is preferred.
Roles & Responsibilities
1) Support Design Engineering projects independently. Collaborate with other design engineers working on those projects.
2) Prepare Engineering documentation, bill of material and change notices.
3) Collaborates and communicates cross functionally and project partners.
4) Provides design support for current production products.
5) Understand and adhere to design and drafting standard practices.
6) Work from oral or written engineering instructions, procedures, drawings, and sketches.
7) Carries out engineering activities under minimal or no supervision
8) Capable of coaching/mentoring lesser experienced engineers on a particular function/domain.
9) Commit to deliver 100% quality job on time.
