In India, we have been providing design and construction supervision services for various National highways, State Highways/PWD and other road projects for various government institutions and private organizations since 1982.Our design teams are have experience of designing in accordance with various international codes as the design centre in India has delivered projects across the world. The Role
We are now seeking to strengthen and grow our Engineering team in Faridabad/ Ahmedabad/ Kolkata/ Bangalore/ Chennai offices, initially working as part of our Main Works Civils High Speed 2 (HS2) project team, by recruiting an experienced Civil/Highways Engineer.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a range of experience within the Civil Engineering/ Transportation/ Infrastructure sectors.

Main Duties

Geometric Design of Highways using Open Roads software
Engaging with the client and work winning
Management of production team and interface issues
Production of engineering design and details in accordance with project requirements
Preparation of calculations, written reports and checking of drawings
Preparation of feasibility studies, preliminary through to detailed design for road and rail infrastructure.
Maintain Designers Risk Assessments in accordance with CDM regulations

Experience

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (or other relevant subject area)
Postgraduate with 3 to 5 years of working experience in a design environment on a range of civil engineering infrastructure projects that could include, highways, rail or civil infrastructure
Experience of using AutoCAD Civil 3D
Experience of Open Roads Design Software
Must be outgoing and self-motivated with a strong desired to excel; and the ability to lead others.
Must have strong time-management skills and ability to multitask and maintain focus and discipline
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office, the Internet and computer aptitude.
