IT is a group of specialized professionals providing services to Intel’s Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing and Corporate teams to sustain and maintain their work environments. IT participates in resolving customer issues and identifying and implementing system administration process improvements, including automation. What team does? – End to End support including Design, Develop, QA, Release and support the platform and the applications. – Develop microservices using JAVA sprint boot – Constantly enhancing our API for our customer using REST. – Optimizing the performance by finetuning SQL stored procedure.
Qualifications

As a Software Development Engineer the responsibilities includes but are not limited to: – Develops and apply software engineering methods, solution of technical problems. – Work cohesively in a self-organized agile team. – Working closely with architects, product owner and dev team. – Supporting the platform as on-call during off hours. – Work on support tickets, triaging and providing solutions to the customers. – Understanding the requirements and test needs. – Work with stakeholders and peer support groups as and when needed. – Constantly looking for improvement and providing documentation for support. – Ensuring compliance with all Quality/Process practices in s/w development The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits – Communication Skills written and verbal. – Analytical and problem solving – Stakeholder management Qualifications: You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Minimum – Bachelor’s in Computer Science or similar software fields of study – 8+ years of experience in SW development in Java or other Object Oriented Language. – 8+ years of experience in Developing middleware/webservices, including any relational database such as MSSQL/MySQL. Preferred – Master degree in Computer Science or related field of study. – Experience working knowledge of Linux. – Experience with any scripting language such as Python/Powershell/Perl – Knowledge of ElasticSearch, Redis. – Working in an agile methodology with emphasis on CI/CD. – Writing and tuning stored procedures/queries.
