As an ETL developer in a big data team, you would be responsible for the design and development of automated ETL pipelines for different data sources. You will have a significant influence on our overall strategy by helping define technology choices, drive the system architecture, and spearhead the best practices in the big data ecosystem.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about building high volume, near real time and highly scalable data platform. This requires exceptional technical expertise, a sound understanding of the fundamentals of Computer Science, knowledge of big data systems and practical experience in data pipelines, distributed systems, and large-scale data processing.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related technical field
2+ years experience in Data ETL/Data Engineering
Solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals like object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
Should be pro in a query language Like SQL , Bigquery. Bigquery will be preferred.
Good knowledge of a scripting language like Python(preferably) is required.
Knowledge of ETL tools , orchestrators like Airflow or Cloud Composer, Cloud environment along with experience in Data warehousing, data pipelines and database system ware is must.
Candidate with knowledge of Big data tools like Spark, Hadoop, Kafka will be preferred
Recommend and deploy tools and processes to enable rapid development, deployment and operations of big data solutions
Demonstrate leadership abilities in an engineering environment in driving operational excellence and best practices.
Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.
Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills
