Your role
based on etl mapping artifacts and requirement documents, should be able to write, execute and analyze test data scripts.create high level test scenarios, strategies and test cases for etl and reporting components.data mining and detailed data analysis on data warehousing systems.
create and execute test plans independently and efficiently to ensure smooth delivery of data related projects.
work on big data platforms, provide input and support big data testing initiative on cloud and on-prem.comply with test strategy, testing standards, templates, and test plans.
Your team
You’ll be working in the Smart Analytics team in Pune, India. You will be part of the team responsible for creating an Analytics Platform Advantage for US Wealth Advisors.
Your expertise
8+ years’ of relevant testing experience
strong etl & data testing with sound knowledge on dwh & rdms concepts.
strong experience in sql query design and implementation.working knowledge on reporting tools.should be able to read brds, source to target mapping documents, develop and test the etl & batch routines, and support user acceptance testing.ability to plan, prepare and execute functional and non-functional test cases.excellent analytical skills to understand data and functional requirements.critical thinker with a strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.experience in etl automation (nice to have).experience with agile methodologies.experience in kafka and hadoop, nice to have exposure to cloud set-up (azure).
