Hadoop Platform services in Chief Data Office organization hosts Hadoop based applications in the enterprise. Provides new tools certification, onboarding, platform support and automation services for the applications
The individual will be part of the Hadoop function which will take care of managing Big Data platform engineering testing services, performance benchmark and capability certifications for emerging Data science platform, Support CDP distribution rollout.

Job Description*
Hadoop Platform services in Chief Data Office organization hosts Hadoop based applications in the enterprise. Provides new tools certification, onboarding, platform support and automation services for the applications. These net new positions are for end to end support for the Resiliency Strategy in Hadoop platforms.
The required skillset Big Data platform engineer is niche in market. The role will play a key part in tools testing automation, big data volume testing, Security re-architecture, Nextgen cloud certification closely integrated to the Never down resiliency strategy.
Responsibilities*
The successful candidate will work closely with the application stakeholders, platform teams, infrastructure. He / She needs to be hands-on and be able to perform within a busy and high pressure environment.Hands on design, testing and actual work experience in required technologiesEnd to end technical responsibilitiesProvide quick technology solutionsAbility to reverse engineer the codeExcellent problem solving skills
Requirements:
Education*: BE / MCA
Experience Range*: 6 to 9 years
Certifications If Any: Cloudera Certified Developer, RHEL advanced certifications
Foundational Skills*Thorough understanding and working experience in Cloudera/Horton Hadoop distribution ecosystem namely YARN, Impala, Hive, Flume, HBase, Sqoop, Apache Spark, Apache Storm, Crunch, Java, Oozie, SQOOP, Pig, Scala, Python, Kerberos/Active Directory/LDAP, etcTPC and any other industry emerging Big Data platform engineering and APM performance toolsAppreciable exposure and Hands on working on Data Science tools stackSelenium/Cucumber test automation frameworksExposure to Containers, Cloud computing and object storage services/platformsExcellent verbal and written skills, Team skills, Proficient with MS office Tools, Strong analytical and problem solving skillsMust be a self-starter, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong problem solving and analytical skillsEffective verbal and written communication skills
