Are you looking for your next Finance Director position? Are you a qualified finance professional with proven record of operating at a strategic level?

Working for a highly successful SME with robust growth plans in place, you will be a commercially minded, driven and enthusiastic finance business partner to the Board.

Duties will include:

– Formation of financial strategy

– Managing the relationship with bankers and auditors

– Ensuring that the annual audit process runs smoothly

– Leading and developing the finance teams across the group, to include three subsidiaries, to ensure accurate and insightful management information

– Overseeing the preparation of a financial strategic plan

– Leading on development of budgets, financial planning, forecasts and financial models to enable effective decision making on commercial opportunities

– Ensuring appropriate budgetary controls are in place, monitoring costs against budget

– Playing an active role in identifying new potential risks; ensuring risks are mitigated

– Leading on all project and acquisition accounting

– Maintaining a high level of visibility, leading, coaching and mentoring the finance teams

– Supporting and promoting the consolidation and integration of international entities into the group consolidation model

– Reviewing entity cash forecasts, considering future movements in the drivers of foreign exchange

– Interrogating management information, providing regular and informative commentary on the commercial, operation and financial performance of group companies

The Person:

– Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)

– Previous experience of working in a growing SME

– Proven record of operating at a strategic level with Board level reporting

– Adaptability to deliver at pace when necessary

– Enthusiastic, self-motivated, able to ask challenging questions and follow through to a successful solution
