Job Description : The Organisation Robert Walters are currently partnering with an instantly recognisable Manchester based organisation in their search for an interim Finance Manager. The business have recently been through a sweeping restructure and is in a strong position to take advantage of their market leading position.
The Role

The interim Finance Manager will play a critical role in delivering improved processes, driving reporting / reconciliation efficiencies and assist a central business unit through an audit process. Once in role the candidate will be responsible for liaising with senior stakeholders both across finance and the wider business.

Specific duties include:

Take ownership of all monthly, quarterly, half and full year reporting and reconciliation cycles

Develop enhanced financial controls, processes and roll these out across the finance division

Assist in getting a small team through a complex audit process

Manage a team of 5 qualified accountants and deal with questions posed by auditors on behalf of the team

Influence and challenge high level stakeholders across the business

Business partnering with key stakeholders in order to deliver improved analysis, MI and data flows

Analyse large quantities of raw data and provide recommendations to senior management team

Liaise with business as usual and project finance teams to ensure that entities are delivering in line with projections and deadlines are hit

Preparation of complex Management Information (MI) and project steering packs for the senior management team

The Candidate

Candidates wishing to apply for this role will be a CCAB Qualified accountant ideally with experience of working in a fast paced, high volume, evolving business. The candidate will be technically strong and will have overseen all aspects of reporting, reconciliation and audit management. Further to this they will have highly developed stakeholder management skills and will be well versed in liaising with senior individuals across the business.
