About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Full-stack Software Engineer to join a cross-functional internal team of engineering, product, and growth experts. In this role, you’ll contribute to the end-to-end delivery of greenfield opportunities that complement Liven’s core product suite.
You will join a small team which enjoys the autonomy to define its own roadmap and explore new revenue opportunities, whilst leveraging and collaborating with Liven’s broader team, infrastructure, and restaurant partners. Ultimately, this team is responsible for the conception and fulfilment of radical new growth and revenue yielding strategies, with a track record of having taken a prior product from inception to a million+ unique users in just a few months.
In this role you will work on the development of these initiatives, whilst contributing to the platform integrations underwriting the team’s ambitious product strategy. What You’ll Do

Lead the frontend development of a SaaS platform
Drive the high velocity development of experimental products within a small cross-functional team.
Make pragmatic technical trade-offs that balance product iteration speed with overall system stability, technical debt, cross-platform optimisation and testing practices.
Bridge the gap between high-fidelity product wireframes and actual technical implementation.
Contribute to backend features and integrations when necessary

What You’ll Need

A strong understanding of front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS/Sass).
Experience in developing websites within WordPress .
WordPress theming and concepts.
Experience in PHP development and MySQL
Use of version control systems such as Git.
Experience in CI/CD pipeline tools such as CircleCI.
Previous experience in reliably scripting/scraping of data.
Exposure to Cloud-based infrastructure on AWS
