Job Description : TRS is looking for a General Manager – Industrial Security & Fire for a shipyard client in Saudi Arabia.

The role:
The General Manager blends business acumen and operational knowledge to drive business results while building a high-performing team. This role uses discretion in assigning duties to employees and in employment decisions and is accountable for the achievement of company goals, operations, staffing and performance management of employees. Develop strategic and operational relationships with stakeholders, internal and external. Manage the Budget discussions, planning, development, and recommendations for IS&F. Manage the Planning, organization, directing and controlling the operational objectives in compliance to the High Commission of Industrial Security (HCIS) and Maritime provisions.

Responsibilities:
Participated in formulating and administering company policies, directing, and coordinating all divisional IS&F function activities to develop and implement long-range goals and objectives to meet business and profitability growth objectives.
Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine departments of IS&F function progress toward stated goals and objectives.
Confers with SVP, CS, and other administrative personnel to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals or objectives resulting from status and conditions.
Develops, reviews, updates, and implements business strategic planning of company in term of security and fire.
Oversees IS&F function to review operating reports and resolve operational problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays and meet future growth.
Oversees Security and Fire key projects, processes and performance reports, data, and analysis.
Reviews and supports development of new security systems technologies to increase the level of security countermeasure used in the company.
Reviews and approves preparation of accounting analysis for budgetary planning and implementation, production efficiency, financial reporting, budgetary planning, and submittal for capital expenditures.
Establish and manage evaluation, performance, goals, succession planning for direct reports and ensure effective performance management is conducted by managers of IS&F function.
Oversee development of an annual operational budget and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) against established targets.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, safety regulations, and operating rules.
Develop and implement local policies, procedures, and protocol as necessary Maintain up-to-date knowledge of and apply pertinent rules, regulations, policies, and procedures set forth by the customer and/or outside agencies.
Ensure the identification and delivery of required training and certification programs for IS&F team is successfully accomplished.
Oversee the supervision of assigned personnel, including hiring, work allocation, training, motivating employees to achieve peak productivity.
Manage performance and recommendations for career development, promotion, discipline, and separation.
Oversee the interpretation of the collective bargaining agreement to maximize the effectiveness of employment relation activities, safety expectations and company performance.
Ensure there is workforce compliance with all related safety rules and procedures and that hazards, risks and dangers are reported as required.
Attend and participate in assigned training, seminar, conferences, safety, security and fire education, and other coaching/coursework as assigned.
Review financial statements to determine where improvements need to be made.
Meet with associates on a regular basis to communicate expectations and scheduling.
Ensure a work environment that upholds compliance with Company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Maintain a visually pleasing and professional atmosphere that aligns with the values and mission of the company.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Management, Security Management, Criminal Justice, or Military/Civil/Police Experience equivalent.

Preferable Certifications:
Certified Protection Professional (CPPⓇ)
Professional Certified Investigator (PCIⓇ)
Associate Protection Professional (APP)
Security Management, Crises management, Risk Assessment, Fire Emergency Response, HCIS Directives.
Experience Minimum of 15 years’ experience in IS&F field.
Must having the ability to communicate fluently in English both in writing and orally.
