Role description:

A degree in GIS and/or suitable experience, with 4 – 6 years experience post graduation.
ESRI ArcGIS 10.5 or above
AutoCAD
Microsoft Excel
Experience of producing environmental figures/maps using GIS and CAD software
Experience of georeferencing and digitising GIS data
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work well within a team environment
Understanding of core principles of GIS and GI data management
Well motivated and able to work to tight deadlines
Desire to work within an international consultancy environment applying GIS to buildings and infrastructure projects.
Role accountabilities:

Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
Undertaking GIS mapping, cartography, data capture, data management and geoprocessing.
Georeferencing scanned maps and digitising GIS features.
Extraction and formatting of AutoCAD data into GIS formats.
Preparing maps and figures for reports using ArcGIS and AutoCAD.
Working with the UK EP GIS team to deliver GIS deliverables to tight deadlines.
Performing other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time by your manager or Arcadis.
