Grade 3 Physiotherapist: Musculoskeletal & Advanced Practice
Part time (24 hrs/fn) Fixed term 12 months
This grade 3 musculoskeletal and Advanced practice physiotherapy position will sit within the Musculoskeletal team at RMH and provide effective team leadership, ensure strong clinical governance and provide clinical expertise and excellent patient care in the musculoskeletal outpatients and advance practice physiotherapy roles at RMH.
Your Opportunity:
Provide clinical excellence across RMH musculoskeletal and advance practice physiotherapy services
Foster positive team and workplace culture as a key leader across our musculoskeletal outpatient services
Work collaboratively across Allied Health, Orthopaedics and other speciality medical/surgical services
Demonstrate a multi-disciplinary health care approach that achieves desired patient outcomes
Provide strategic and operational leadership of the physiotherapy service across musculoskeletal and advance practice physiotherapy services to ensure evidence based best practice and contemporary models of care
About You:
Clinical expert in musculoskeletal physiotherapy patient management (minimum 7 years’ experience and post-graduate qualifications)
Previous experience in advance practice physiotherapy roles
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Experience and skills working autonomously in a health care setting
High-level organisational and team leadership skills
High level of computer literacy
You are an influential leader with a track record of driving change within a complex health care environment
Ability to develop and advance the physiotherapy service
Your Contribution
Experience in musculoskeletal and advanced practice clinical care and previous experience in these settings is essential for this role in addition to demonstrated skills in service development, participation in research and/or a higher degree
Ensure operational performance of the physiotherapy team is maintained including:
Managing staffing, workloads and KPIs
Provide clinical leadership and consultations as required across PT and AH teams
Oversee team quality and research projects
Conflict resolution and support for team as required
Representation at leadership meetings
