You will be working Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm with a 1-hour lunch break.

Your new job responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Office Manager, you will join a welcoming team of fellow Accountants to support the preparation of bookkeeping and accounts reports for a variety of small businesses and charities. You will demonstrate exceptional numerical skills and an overall understanding of accounting software including Xero and Sage.

As a Graduate Accountant, you will possess excellent communication skills in order to deal with various stakeholders on a daily basis, whilst having strong administrative skills and Excel knowledge. Taking on an integral role within the practice, you will provide unrivalled support and be able to demonstrate strong decision-making capabilities, putting your Accountancy knowledge into practice to make a real difference in an ever-growing team of talented Accountants.

Your personality, experience and qualifications

You will be an ambitious and driven accounting graduate who is seeking a challenging yet rewarding career as an Accountant, within a highly reputable firm. Having exposure to IRIS software throughout your studies or practical work experience is desirable although training will be provided.

As a Graduate Accountant, you will be proactive and use your own initiative, whilst demonstrating an open and honest approach to meeting deadlines. You will be a self-starter who is confident working within a strong team as well as autonomously, with a keen interested in learning and developing your skills.
