About the job
Whether you’re on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product’s journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you’ll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.
The Growth Lab team is a fast growing team with high-executive visibility and the opportunity to work across functions and global product areas at Google. Our goal is to spread Google brand love and get more users to use more Google products, more often and on more devices. We provide insights, best practices, tools, and services to help product and marketing teams achieve that.
You’ll join a team of experienced growth marketers and collaborate with product and marketing teams to help them drive their Growth objectives using Google’s Owned and Operated digital assets, including Google sites, apps, and databases. This is a fast paced, highly collaborative team that involves numerous stakeholders.
Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how Google’s products solve the world’s problems-from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can-changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.
Responsibilities
Develop the APAC Growth strategy, in line with APAC Marketing Priorities: grow product adoption and retention, deliver critical information to millions of users, and drive brand sentiment.
Collaborate with the Growth/Notifications Engineering team and APAC marketing teams to shape the future of Growth Marketing, align on vision and resources, and run critical pilots.
Execute the Growth marketing plans: testing, learnings and scaling, and work with our pool of analysts to develop lower funnel measurement plans.
Be a thought leader for Growth Marketing at Google, driving best practices across Google’s product and country teams, and help set internal and industry standards.
