Job Description : We are an established Hairdressing Salon situated in the suburb of Dianella and currently looking for an enthusiastic Salon Assistant to join our professional team.The person we are looking for is:- a recent school leaver wanting to become a qualified hairdresser- keen to undertake on the job training and courses that may become available- looking to obtain the SHB20216 Certificate II in Salon Assistant Traineeship- diligent in completing the Training Plan as required by Taylorweir- prepared to work on a fixed part time basisNo experience needed, all the skills you need will be taught on the job and the salon is open from Wednesday to Saturday, with late night opening on Thursdays.Your duties will include:- Welcoming clients- General cleaning duties- Assisting staff- Reception duties- General hair basin dutiesTo be eligible for this traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.If this is something you would be interested in or would like to work in a salon before committing to an apprenticeship please do not hesitate to contact us for an interview via our email.Job Types: Part-time, PermanentPart-time hours: 30 per weekSalary: From $12.30 per hourBenefits:Professional development assistanceSchedule:8 hour shiftSupplementary Pay:TipsCOVID-19 considerations:All staff and customers are required to wear masks and sign in manually or using the SafeWA app. Areas are regularly cleaned and sanitised after each client with a Risk Management, Covid Exposure Plan and a Business Continuity Plan regularly updated.Work Authorisation:Australia (Required)
