About the Role
The HR Manager role is a generalist hands on role providing a mix of complex operational and strategic support to designated business groups and will be experienced across the following:
Delivering client/solution focused HR support on day-to-day employee cycle processes i.e. onboarding, bonus/pay review, Talent Management, Performance Management, Employee Survey.
Developing proactive partnerships with stakeholders within the business units you support building an understanding of the customers, products, people challenges and opportunities.
Sound knowledge and a passion for employee relations with the ability to coach leaders and advise on medium to high complexity matters.
Guiding leaders on organisational effectiveness and design including team structures and role clarity, employee engagement as well as people and culture.
Contributing to key organisational development and change programs at the local level.
Use data to analyse and report on business metrics such as attrition, retention, employee experience, workforce planning, diversity etc in order to recommend improvements.
About You
You’re a fit for the role of HR Manager if you:
Have a sound knowledge of relevant legislation, Awards, HR policy as current changes in the Australian workplace relations environment
Enjoy working in a matrixed environment with the influencing skills to engage with a wide range of stakeholders across the AEM region
Have a flexible approach and are comfortable with ambiguity and working in the grey
Are comfortable using Workday or similar HRIS, and being hands on operationally
You hold a Bachelor level qualification in Employment Law, Human Resources, Psychology or related field
