Education: University degree in PR or Communications

Experience : 3-5 years of experience into the same field is a must

Level/Grade L5

Key responsibilities and accountabilities :

PR :
Strategize & Identify opportunities for PR activities seeking placements in print, broadcast, and online media
Write & develop media pitches/press kits and work with targeted media on story development of our programs/events/promotions
Proactively develop relationships with journalists, bloggers and other influencers to convey the message
Organize & manage press conferences
Drafting of monthly and activity reports for review
Create, maintain media list, Collate, analyse and evaluate media coverage
Handle routine media inquiries from public, press and related organizations

COMMS:
Collaborate with in-house programs to collate content for the external newsletter of the organization
Source content and manage production of the internal newsletter
Seeks new methods and creative strategies to increase internal and external awareness of key events and changes in the organization
Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal and external key stakeholders to ensure proper dissemination of communication

Key Competency and skills :

Strong English + Kannada writing and speaking skills
The ability to work independently, take initiative, be organized, and manage your priorities while delivering high-quality work
Great presentation and communication skills and are adept with the written word
