Job Description:
Providing detailed designed drawings for all water supply projects. Performs preliminary engineering design and analysis and / or reviews the design and drafting work of junior engineers, designers, or drafters.Design complex, medium and large-scale water supply projects with different types (gravity, loop and combined)Develop concept, schematic, Detailed, and Draft final designs for water Transmission main and distribution systems, including all required drawings and reports.Ability to check/ review, resolve issues associated with technical work including hydraulic modeling like model build, model verification, evaluation, feasibility, and outline design of solutions.Perform hydraulic analysis of water supply systems or water distribution networks to model flow characteristics, test for pressure losses, or to identify opportunities to mitigate risks and improve operational efficiency.Assist and cooperation with estimation team for correct estimation and costing of designed project.Review prepared design deliverables with senior project teams and implement design revisions based on reviews and checking reports, as needed.Emphasis for this role will be on the technical aspects of water resources designs (80%) but will provide business development support (20%) when needed.

2 – 8 years
Educational Qualifications:
B.Tech/B.E in Civil, or M.Tech Civil, M.Tech
Job Responsibilities:
1. Working experience on government/private funded projects of water sector like city planning of water supply, sewerage system, and drainage system.
2. Should be conversant with design principles and standards. Detailed knowledge of hydraulic Design, Pump House and Pump Design, Pipe Line Design, Head calculation.
3. Conversant and practical experience in related engineering software tools like WaterCAD/WaterGEM, Epanet, WaterCAD, Loop , AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Map source
4. Experience of detailed design drawings and calculations.
5. Should be conversant with applicable development regulations and provisions
6. Should have experience in interpretation of drawings understanding of BOQs along, sewerage, drainage & other PHE works
7. Should have proven technical writing (report writing), communication, and excellent presentation skills
