About our Opportunity About the role
We are searching for a passionate IT engineer with a customer-focused attitude towards supporting technologies that enable our users to communicate and collaborate around the globe. This ideal candidate should have at least four years of working experience supporting Voice, AV, and Collaboration applications built around Microsoft Skype for Business and Teams or at least three years of related experience and have passed the Microsoft Teams Administrator Associate exam, MS-700. In addition, the ideal candidate should have excellent soft skills in supporting high-value meetings or C-level users. The candidate should also have a working knowledge of AD User & Exchange mailbox administration and basic network troubleshooting.
In this role, You will
Provide world-class ongoing Unified Communications escalation support to 1st and 2nd level IT Engineers through daily management of escalation tickets via ServiceNow ITSM application.
Provide high-value meeting support using Microsoft Teams as the core meeting platform
Provide service management and escalation support for one or more of the following Unified Communications, AV, & Collaboration services:
o Enterprise Voice systems – Cisco Call Manager and Voice Gateways, Microsoft Skype for Business Hybrid, AudioCodesRibbon SBCs and Auto Attendants, Microsoft Teams
o Online meeting and Collaboration Platforms – Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex
o Contact Center Application – NICEInContact, EngHouse CCE
o AV infrastructure & Peripherals – Poly and Logitech MTRs, Poly Clariti infrastructure and Group Series endpoints, RealConnect & Pexip CVI, Polycom VTC endpoints, Microsoft Surface Hubs and Dell Touch Screens, Crestron and supporting AV peripherals, Brightsign Displays
o Video Broadcasting Technologies – Cisco Event Center and Microsoft Live Events
o SharePoint Online and Office 365 Collaboration Tools – SPO, OneDrive, Forms, Planner, Whiteboard, Power Automate, Stream, Yammer.
Support ongoing Unified Communication projects and assigned tasks, including but not limited to planning, documentation, implementation, technical training, and vendor management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Partner with individuals across a variety of IT services and infrastructure teams to resolve issues, provide technical training, and support the overall IT Org roadmap
Develop and document policies, procedures, and associated training plans for systems administration and other IT operations team members across the IT org.
Skills & Qualifications
4-year Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering
ITIL certification
Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines, both independently and as a team member
Maintain enough flexibility in work hours to support system maintenance and other off-hour activities to support the EMEA time zones
Aptitude for documenting and maintaining configuration and run books
Willing to learn new technologies that support the Unified Communications Services portfolio
Excellent client service delivery with a focus on the end-user experience
Maintain an understanding of Codecs and protocols used in Audio and Video connectivity such as G.711, G.722, Siren, SIP, H.323, including media and signalling call flows
Maintain an understanding of private network topology and interconnects, including SDWAN, MPLS, FlexVPN
Maintain an understanding of QoS and its relevance in real-time communications
Ability to interact with Mac iOS and MS Office Applications
Able to acquire and maintain a working knowledge of Windows Hyper-V, Power Shell scripting, DHCP, DNS, Group Policies, Active Directory, Azure AD, Exchange Hybrid, SharePoint Online, Power Automate development & other Office 365 collaboration applications
Able to acquire and maintain a working knowledge of Ribbon or AudioCodes Session Border Controllers
