The Data and Analytics (DnA) organization in IT is looking for a Software Application Development Engineer to join our Sales and Marketing analytics development team. This role will be part of an Agile Scrum team of software engineers to support the data and analytics needs of our Intel Alliance Partner (IPA) program. The launch of IPA is a key milestone in our journey to be a datacentric company. Data has become a force which requires advanced solutions and higher degrees of collaboration. The information architecture supporting IPA is very diverse and complex with lots of opportunity for learning and growth.
Designs, develops, tests, and debugs software applications used by end users or integrated with other applications by ISV partners. Development may span the full application stack including both frontend and backend application development. Uses modern software development methodologies and programming languages, follows secure coding practices and software legal compliance guidelines, analyzes user stories, writes both functional and test code, automates build and deployment, and performs unit integration and end-to-end testing of applications. Completes SDL tasks with the assistance of product security engineers and provides input to technical writers to complete product documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. May also interact with end users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
1) Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Computational Science
2) 3+ years’ experience in data and analytics software development
3) Experience with MSBI Analytics (SQL, SSAS, PowerBI etc)
Preferred Qualifications:
1) Technical certifications in the data and analytics discipline
2) Knowledge/experience working within the sales and marketing data domain
3) Experience in Hadoop or Azure analytics architecture
