Precisely’s Product IT Team is looking to add a seasoned Windows administrator for its India office. In this role, you will be a key member to the team responsible for the administration and management of our Windows infrastructure. You should be an individual with focus and possess the skills to multi-task across several projects, be excited and motived to manage a multitude of tasks and work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
You Will:
Administer multiple Active Directory domains and be the subject matter expert.
Be responsible for Active Directory, Sites and Services, DNS, Kerberos, Group Policy, DHCP, WSUS.
Work with India, US and UK based IT teams for any enhancements, future roadmaps etc.
Manage servers and work with the Data Center remote hands team to make necessary corrections.
Manage operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes for production servers.
Have a willingness to work late hours as needed and on an on-call basis to ensure responsive support for development and pre-sales activities.
Provide very responsive support for day-to-day requests from product teams, development, support and professional services teams.
Maintain security and authorization in an enterprise environment, across continents and time zones.
Qualifications:
You Have:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience.
5 to 7 years of experience with Computer Information Systems or Information Technology related degree.
Ability and desire to “think out of the box” to not only meet requirements but exceed them whenever possible.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and complete assigned tasks on time.
Ability to effectively interact with team members using strong verbal and written communication skills.
A strong desire to learn and the ability to understand new concepts quickly.
Self-motivated and enthusiastic when working with difficult problems and tight deadlines.
Preferred Requirements:
Experience in Software design principles, operating system design, database concepts.
Knows Networking; Ethernet and TCP/IP, routing, DNS, etc.
Knowledge of Windows PowerShell scripting, Hadoop, Big Data, Cloudera setup and design.
