Your Opportunity

Team is looking for Software Engineer III who can implement next generation Walmart suite of products keeping scalability, robustness and security aspects in focus. Provide support in building cloud-based applications and products to cater with various data requirements for internal and external stakeholders.

As a part of Enterprise Business Services within Walmart Global Tech India @ Bengaluru, who could work on building solutions for various business functions across multiple markets, your design and solution will have a significant impact on day-to-day running of Walmart. You will be challenged with unparalleled complex business problems that spans across multiple countries, large number of users and data.

Your Responsibility

Interact with Walmart engineering teams across geographies to leverage expertise and contribute to the tech community.

Engage with Product Management and Business to understand priorities and deliver awesome products.

Involve in implementation using technical skills, to design and build front end components, integrating with applications to support strategic initiatives.

Build, test and deploy cutting edge solutions at scale, impacting associates of Walmart worldwide.

Work closely with the Architects and cross functional teams and follow established practices for the delivery of solutions meeting quality, speed, innovation and create impact

Participate in hiring and build teams enabling them to be high performing agile teams

Interact closely for requirements with Business owners and technical teams both within India and across the globe.

Focus on reusability, frameworks, patterns and configurations tools for faster development and deployment cycles

You will work with engineering & user experience teams for design and technical feasibility discussions.

Need to be passionate to learn new technologies and also ability to quickly adapt to change.

Need to be flexible to do on-call rotation and available in a timely manner.

AEM 6.4 and higher, AEM Forms, Commerce Integration Framework & Apache Sling Framework working knowledge will be an added advantage to this role.

Your Qualifications

B.Tech. / B.E. / M.Tech. / M.S. in Computer Science

3+ years of experience in design and development of highly -scalable applications and platform development

Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, design patterns

Experience working on content management systems especially Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).

Experience working on these technologies like Java, J2EE, HTML5, CSS3, Java Script & JQuery

Hands on experience in implementing Microservices, RESTful webservices using Java/NodeJS

Exposure to Testing frameworks like JUnit, TestNG & Selenium will be advantage

Working knowledge of SQL/No-SQL and database technologies (MySQL, Mongo DB, Cosmos DB)

Exposure to architecture best practices (Cloud, Microservices, Serverless)

Knowledge in deploying solutions on any of these cloud platforms (Azure, GCP)

Familiarity with search engines like Lucene/Solr/Elastic/Bing Search

CI/CD Automation experience with tools like Git, Maven, Jenkins & Azure DevOps is nice to have

Strong hands on development skills to prototype technical & innovative solutions

Exceptional communication, interpersonal skills and a team player

Certifications will be an added advantage
