We’re looking for a Securities Funding and Optimization developer to:

help build out the securities funding and optimization cloud native platformparticipate and collaborate in dedicated cross functional and independent team of technologists to build out enterprise wide solutionswork with product owner and your team to understand, own and drive business products as well as client solutionsaim for reduction of time to market through technology and agile innovation

You’ll be working in the GM Financing Stream, Securities Funding and Optimization Crew, supporting our newly created chapters to embed the unified model of Agile@UBS and take our platform to the cloud. We are a team of dedicated professionals, who are looking to build out our next generation cloud only based platform to solve complex enterprise wide problems.
Your expertise
a strong sense of continuous improvement to continually be growing once’s own craft, learning new tools and sharing techniques across community.ability to communicate effectively well within team, across teams and in larger community of practice, as well as facilitate agile ceremonies.deep understanding of the software development craft, with focus on prem and cloud based (Azure), event driven solutions and architectures.experience delivering solutions using kafka, data bricks, Kubernetes, containers, GitLab and CI/CD pipelinesexpert java core hands on technologist, with deep understanding of TDDability to analyse complex trading, order management and execution requirements, design and implement solutionssuccessfully applied solutions to meet non-functional requirements such as stability, capacity, latency and throughputa proven team player with strong leadership skills, who is able to work in a collaborative way across business units, teams and regionshands-on experience of agile software development practices and methodologies, especially scrum
strong written and verbal communication skills in English and a desire to work as part of a global team
