Job Description : Your field of responsibility
A number of new and exciting projects have been initiated within Global Wealth Management Division – APAC region, enabling you to directly contribute to the success of the business. You will design, develop, test, deploy and support high quality systems. You will get an opportunity to work together with all stakeholders, understanding the challenges they face and using your technical expertise to deliver the systems we need. Understanding the different technology domains within the Bank and how the data across domains is interrelated will be one of the key aspects of this role. You should also be able to adapt to changes in priorities and requirements
The Global WM IT organization is responsible for the engineering and support of technology solutions, implementation of change programs, and the associated change, design and data governance for the APAC Division.

Your skills and experience
As an agile application developer you will work together with business users and members of the development team to provide quality systems that improve productivity, decrease operational risk, enable the business to expand and make users smile. These are high profile applications that offer you the opportunity to craft the future technical direction and take ownership for functional components.
Server Side expertise: Java 11+ (17 preferred), Junit, Microservices
Or Front End expertise : Javascript, ES6+, ReactJS 17+, Node.js, HTML5 and CSS3, Micro frontends
Deep understanding of Design Principles such as SOLID, CQS, DRY, Clean coding techniques.
Experience of working on Kubernetes / Openshift, Dockers, Cloud Native technologies and frameworks (e.g. Micronaut, Spring Boot).
Good knowledge of HTTP and REST API design, Web Applications, RDBMS / Oracle, MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
A real passion for and experience of Agile working practices, with a strong desire to work with baked in quality subject areas such as TDD, BDD, test automation and DevOps principles
While not necessary, experience of working with JPA, Kafka and / or Elastic Search will be a plus
Practical experience of designing and implementing distributed systems
Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer Engineering or related subject area is preferred but not required
Significant work experience in commercial software development, full stack web frameworks and exposure to more recent technologies
Proven ability to work well in delivering complex systems in a fast paced changing environment and to develop intuitive and robust user interfaces which improves user experience
