Java with Microservice, CI/CD Jenkins and automation script implementation
Summary & Role Information:
Developer should be able to work as a Full-stack developer with specialization either in UI or back end or automation with basic knowledge in Dev OPs. Design highly scalable and performant solution which address functional as well as non-functional requirement with high quality.
This is a development role with immense potential for growth. The potential candidate would work closely with other members of the team and other functional groups within SAP SuccessFactors.
Skills Competencies
Design and implement Java based solutions with scalability, reliability, maintainability and testabilityStrong technical skills with technologies like Java/J2EE, Hibernate, Spring, SAP HANA, UI Technologies, and OData protocols to develop cutting edge software that performs and scales in cloud environmentServer oriented – Knowledge in Java backend development (tomcat, JEE, dependency injection, and more) – mandatoryBasic client-side knowledge of Web technologies, JS, HTML, CSS – mandatory.Should have Sound knowledge in Object Oriented Programming Principles, Design Patterns and Software Architecture, especially in new age Cloud solutionsMust be able to design and implement across all layers of the software (UI, Backend, Database)Exposure to debugging, troubleshootingKnowledge of lean development infrastructure process including Git, TeamCity, Jenkins etc. and exposure to Continuous Delivery practicesWorking knowledge of Scrum, Test Driven Development and passionate about unit test, integrity testing, stress testing and performance testing and test automationAwareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principlesExposure to building large scale application deployed on public cloud like AWS, AZURE etc.Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk managementStrive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)Knowledge in automation testing frameworksReview the automated tests written by the test engineers to make sure they adhere to the established standards.Develops, modifies, executes and reviews software test plans and test cases.
Experience (Role Requirements):
Requires minimum 4+ years of professional experience in developing Java/J2EE based enterprise web-based applicationBachelor’s in Computer Science or Information Technology is requiredOutstanding written and verbal communication skills.A collaborative approach and experience in working within team-oriented environmentsHighly developed communication skills and the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levelsThe ability to lead projects effectively and independently to completionSome experience in open-source automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG and JUNITOpen source tools such as Selenium, TestNG and JUNIT
