Roles and Responsibility
The ideal candidate should not only be proficient with ReactJS, TypeScript and HTML/ CSS, but also a good team player who doesn’t shy away from solving problems.
The candidate will take responsibility for translating design and business needs into websites without sacrificing code health. Work on the user-facing website, analytics dashboards and third party SAAS plugins. Take ownership of the frontend (ReactJS) codebase. Ensure performance, reliability and responsiveness of the websites. Coordinate with the UI/UX team to ideate on designs and implement them. Mentor junior developers. Front-end code reviews and internal knowledge transfers.
Desired Competencies/Experience:
Basic Qualifications 1+ years of relevant frontend development experience. 1+ years of working with ReactJS. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field. Experience designing responsive websites for mobile & desktop. Experience with writing tests in a suitable framework e.g. Jest Working knowledge of version control.
Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of module bundlers: Webpack/ Snowpack/ Parcel. Knowledge of backend technologies such as NodeJS and Express/NestJS. Knowledge of how the web works: REST APIs, browser APIs, storage mechanisms, cookies, databases. Experience working on a PWA. Experience with SSR frameworks and static site generators. Experience in writing E2E tests with Cypress or similar. Experience with ant design. Working knowledge of JIRA/Trello. Start-up experience. Experience in making SAAS or B2B2C products.
Proficiency with JavaScript and belief in the superiority of TypeScript.
