Job Description : We are seeking a fresh, ambitious, competitive and professional Junior Business Development Specialist to understand and market our cutting-edge legal solutions into small to mid-size law firms.

About the Role
The Junior Business Development Specialist will be responsible for:
Generating new transactional sales within an existing territory into smaller customer segment/ as part of an internal sales team.
Promoting and selling legal products through outbound and inbound telephone calls to existing and potential customers.
Qualify leads through outbound telephone calls based on an established set of criteria to gain interest in purchasing a specific product(s).
Focus on proactive approaches and identifying opportunities to cross sell and upsell our content, subscriptions and solutions, building increasing value within the client base to achieve overall revenue targets.
Attain results by proactively engaging with existing customers and by working with our wider sales and leadership team to develop close relationships with prospects and customers to understand their business and provide them with a targeted solution.
Maintain deep knowledge of the products/services that Thomson Reuters offers, in alignment with Marketing strategy, campaigns, offers, prices, etc.
Act in coordination with the wider sales team, especially in those accounts where the main relationship is being maintained by the Client Management function
Detect any commercial opportunity that might exist in the account and liaise with the relevant Client Manager
Creating and maintaining accurate contact and activity records in Salesforce (CRM)
About You
You’re a fit for the Junior Business Development Specialist role if you are:
A fresh graduate with a Sales/Marketing/Business/Legal/Accounting degree and looking to make a mark in the Legal/Tax&Accounting research industry with one of the best Legal data brands in the market.
Ideally but not compulsory to have 2 years’ experience in internal SaaS sales, ideally with tertiary qualifications in Law, Accounting, Commerce, Business or a related discipline are welcomed, but all graduates will be considered.
Confident and eager to learn and develop as an individual contributor
Strong relationship building skills.
Excellent active listening, negotiation and ability to demonstrate consultative sales skills and the capability of discovery questioning and qualifying by phone
Customer centric approach
Commercial acumen and ability to identify opportunities to cross sell solutions
