Department Overview:

Commercial Banking Strategy & Shared Services -CBSSS team enables to centralize key functions across the Wholesale reporting landscape to provide consistency and efficiency, control expenses and reduce risk for the organization. The functions include dashboard & report development, automation, production implementation and quality control. Currently, the team is looking to fill Analytic Consultant position to support various reporting projects associated with Wells Fargo Wholesale multiple lines of business.

About the Role (Lead Analytic Consultant):

The candidate will be part of a dynamic team that provides meaningful impact to the business. This position will support multiple business lines and development/enhancement of reporting capabilities and analytics to help support Commercial line of business.

Responsibilities:

Lead the Production of analytics/reporting to support businesses
Leads project (technical lead) & mentors lower level staff
Lead or participate in business initiatives to enhance process efficiency
Responsible for development, productionalization and maintenance of Dashboards & Reports in various BI platforms in close cooperation with Technology and Data teams as well as interfacing with internal business partners to gather, critically assess, and implement business requirements that cover financial, marketing, and business development activities
Develops specific, customized, ad hoc reports analyses and/or data visualizations to make recommendations as BI solution. Ensures adherence to data management/data governance regulations and policies.
Responsibilities also include, but not limited to leveraging BI tools to build complex MIS reports, data research, validation, and structuring; implementing business rules and constraints; creating and maintaining relevant documentation, etc.
Lead, contribute and implement industry best practices.
Market Skills and Certifications :

Essential Qualifications:

Unique Knowledge / Skill requirement
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Finance, Computer or Statistics
8+ years of hands-on experience in data visualization, Reporting, Dashboard development and data analysis
Demonstrated hands on experience using Tableau/SSRS/ Power BI and Advanced Excel.
Hands-on experience in SQL (Teradata/SQL Server) & ETL (SSIS)
Excellent analytical and technical skills
Experience in problem analysis, solution implementation, and change management
Ability to lead the team technically and work with all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
Defined KPIs and end-to-end MIS reporting
SLA, Productivity, TAT, Business perforamnce
Trend analysis
Performance vis-à-vis Benchmarks
Deep-dive Analytics and diagnostics
Portfolio Monitoring & Predictive Analytics

Experience in advanced analytics with skills in SAS, Python & R
Experience with other BI tools such as OBIEE
Financial services experience (Commercial Banking a plus)
Understanding Wells Fargo Wholesale products, systems, and platforms
