About this role
As a Lead UI Designer at Stake, you’ll produce interfaces that inspire our customers and advocate for their seamless experience. We’re looking for someone who loves all things design, seeks to solve new problems in creative and innovative ways, and wants to break new barriers in how interfaces create memorable experiences for all users. In this role, you will:
Work collaboratively with UX designers, product managers, software engineers and other business stakeholders to understand our customers’ needs and deliver high-end innovative interfaces;
Test designs in-house or with users if required to validate and iterate new ideas;
Seek and act on feedback from the team and our customers and learn from user testing results to further improve your designs;
Maintain your design documentation;
Set out, own and maintain a strong vision and philosophy for how the brand and its high standards shine through the app from the smallest of details through to the overall experience
Provide your opinion on the latest design principles and guidelines that will inspire our customers and push the boundaries of UI design on both web and mobile;
Effectively communicate the design thinking behind the concepts and ideas to the wider team.
A bit about you
You have at least 4-5+ years of professional work experience as a user interface or visual designer;
You have strong knowledge of design principles for mobile and web apps and of contemporary design and development methodologies
You’re proficient with the design and prototyping tool Figma
You’re familiar with project management and delivery tools such as Jira and Miro
You develop design concepts that put users first, while catering to key business goals.
