The Location: Gurgaon/Ahmedabad, India

The Team: Reporting into the Learning & Development Manager ASIA PAC, the candidate will be joining a collaborative, global team that focuses on implementing change and getting things done. The team prides itself on being pillars of support to the internal operations of Platt’s Content Group.

The Impact: You will work in close partnership with the Learning & Development Managers at EMEA, Americas, and the Director of Global Energy Education & Training (based in the US). In addition, this person will partner closely with the People Team and Corporate L&D.
Key Stakeholders will be Learning & Development Manager, Asia Pac; Learning & Development Manager EMEA; Learning & Development Manager, Americas; and the Director of Global Energy Education & Training (based in the US).

What’s in it for you: The successful candidate will be wholly responsible for the administration of the learning management system, for a global audience, across the Pricing & Market Insight teams. The successful candidate will play a central role in designing and deploying e learning content across a range of different subjects for global population. The successful candidate will also be responsible for overseeing the hiring test program employed at Platts. Additionally, this role will have visibility across Platts and S&P Global.

Responsibilities: We are seeking an innovative and tech-savvy Learning Technologist to support our core business priorities through engaging and modern e-learning.
Perform needs analysis, scope projects, and evaluate existing collateral to identify the most appropriate approach and content
Design storyboards and course outlines for e-learning modules and other learning solutions
Develop a range different course content including scenarios, simulations, interactive learning activities as well as assessments using solid instructional design theory
Manage relationships with SMEs and wider stakeholders
Site admin for the Learning Xchange (LMS) which includes uploading e-learning, creating classroom sessions, user enrolment, managing learning paths as well as annual training certifications.
Providing Learning Xchange technical support for different stakeholders including troubleshooting, reporting as well as checking user statuses. This may involve working with the corporate function and / or the LMS vendor.
Program manage the hiring test program employed at Platts which plays a critical role in our hiring decisions.
Manages purchasing, invoices and vendors for team.
Creates and manages training calendar for team.
First point of contact for queries related to the Learning Management System.
Manages the Platts Content Learning Mailbox.

What We’re Looking For:
Solid grounding in adult learning theory and well as instructional design theory
Awareness of the latest innovations and best-practice within e-learning and instructional design
Experience of all stages of the learning cycle: needs analysis, design, development and evaluation
Ability to simplify sometimes complex material using clear visuals and infographics
Strong project management skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experience of working with an enterprise-wide Learning Management System such as Cornerstone, SAP Litmos, SeerTech etc
Experience of working with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate, Camtasia, etc
Strong program management skills.
Strong Excel Skills.
