Hours: 37.5 hours
We have an exciting opportunity in our Group Finance department for a qualified Accountant to join our growing team as a Management Accountant, taking responsibility for the accounting of our Cab Aid, Principia Law and Auxillis Businesses.
Reporting to the Management Accounting Manager, you will:
Review transactional team revenue and cost postings for the period ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Undertake month end valuation of WIP, commissions and fleet cost accruals.
Provide reporting on debtors, recovery analysis and disbursements (Principia)
Assist with group monthly payroll recharges, including liaising with wider finance and payroll to resolve any control account differences.
Provide meaningful variance analysis between actuals and Budget to help the business understand drivers for Financial Performance.
Provide input into month end management accounts.
Input as required into year-end consolidation reporting providing insight and analysis into YoY movement.

About you
You will be an ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified accountant (experienced or newly qualified).
You have strong finance systems and subsidiary accounting experience and have a good understanding of technical reporting disclosure requirements under FRS 101, 102 and IFRS.
You have excellent attention to detail and ability to plan, organise and work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
You’re able to use initiative, make reasoned decisions under pressure and are driven by process improvement.
