We are looking for engineers who enjoy working in a fast paced environment with a good mind for business. The purpose of Mould Development Reorders is to develop the best injection mould solutions for the Reorders stream, focusing on quality and adherence to standards for every element by applying knowledge of moulds and moulding processes. Join a unique and resilient team with a strong focus on teamwork and results.

Core Responsibilities
You will be the go between between part design and mould design, similar to the role of a Tooling Engineer in the moulding industry. Your main resposponsiblity is to translate a part (element) design to a mouldable solution. A foundation in moulds and mould design is essential. Your key responsibilities are:
Leading & sharing specialist knowledge of Reorder moulds with key stakeholders
Ensuring Voice of Customer is heard by engaging with key stakeholders
Ensuring the right level of DFM within LEGO Moulding Technology
Ensuring the right technical solution within standards
Driving mould solutions towards internal platforms
Driving Continuous Improvement and simplicity thinking across Mould Development.
Defining and driving processes in line with reducing lead time, cost and improving quality.
Cultivating knowledge in technical mould development and its processes.
Cultivating a positive culture by focusing on teamwork, LEAN practices and productivity

You use both your network, your functional expertise and your detailed understanding of how our own business relates to our internal customers within the organization to continuously develop our skillset and the related processes.

Do you have what it takes?
Education within Mechanical Engineering or similar or equivalent work experience within Mould Design.
CAD systems, preferabley NX, 3D Design, Microsoft Office, SAP
Degree in Mechanical engineering is an advantage
Minimum 5 years Mould Design knowledge
Foundation in engineering best practice (DOE, RCA, FMEA etc)
Data driven approach
Proven stakeholder management skills
Problem solving mindset
Enjoys working in fast paced environment
Entrepreneurial mindset
Good spoken & written English to work with colleagues in a global organization
