Don’t be afraid if you are a tech star who doesn’t know much about sustainability, you will be working closely with 2 Sustainability PhDs who will handle all stuff Sustainability, so you can focus on building the spaceship.
Handprint Mobile is an exciting new venture designed to bring people and companies together to regenerate the planet, all with an easy-to-use and fun mobile application.
Other projects in the roadmap you may be involved in include:
> Integration of the next generation of eco-blockchain to bring transparency in Regenerative Projects (financial reporting & impact reporting transparency)> Integration of Handprint technology in external parties (Banks, Advertising platform, ride-hailing app, etc.)
The Job Responsibilities
– Develop a brand new mobile application and user interfaces from high-fidelity wireframe models.
– Assume ownership of Handprint Mobile from conceptualization to deployment, including actively participating in design thinking and wireframing sessions.
– Write quality code alongside your development team using best development practices such as Test Driven Development (TDoD), Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), Domain Driven Modelling, OOP.
– Work with a cross-functional team for the full software development cycle.
– Collaborate closely with the Product team to ensure Product vision for Handprint Mobile is executed.
– Identify what technologies can be used to improve the company’s products and services.
– Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software.
– Write comprehensive unit test cases for robustness with proper code coverage
Application benchmarking and optimisation.
– Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunities.
– Research and suggest new mobile products, applications and protocols.
Minimum qualifications
– Minimum 4 years of hands-on software development with at least 3+ years in Flutter Mobile applications development.
– Experience integrating APIs and third-party libraries to connect applications to back-end services.
– Experience with Object-oriented programming (OOP) and object modelling.
– Knowledge of mobileI design principles, patterns and best practices.
– Knowledge of iOS/ Android SDK and ecosystem of tools, libraries and frameworks.
– Experience with multiple programming languages and libraries such as PHP, Javascript, etc.
– Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
– Able to build responsive web applications for both desktop and mobile, and optimize heavy applications to be responsive.Please include your portfolio of published mobile applications in the Google Play Store / iOS Store
Preferred qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent education or practical experience.
– Able to prepare automated functional tests or UI tests.
– Native development experience is a plus.
– Familiarity with BLoC architecture is a plus.
– Experience with optimising scalability and building high performance applications that support thousands to millions of active user requests.
– Organisational and analytical skills.
– Worked in high performance cross-functional Agile software engineering teams.
